Un programa educativo destinado a exponer a los jóvenes que viven en las comunidades rurales de Santiago del Estero a la Ecologia (con énfasis en el valor de los árboles) a través de la participación en talleres interactivos.
En 2023 dimos el taller en doce escuelas primarias del Departamento Pellegrini, con el plan de seguir el programa en 2024.
An education program aimed at exposing youth living in rural communities of Santiago del Estero to concepts in Ecology (focused on the value of trees) through participation in interactive workshops.
In September 2023 I prepared and directed twelve workshops in primary schools in the department of Pellegrini, with the plan to continue the program in 2024.

Una herramienta de apoyo para diferentes problemáticas que enfrentan las familias campesinas e indígenas (conflictos de tierras, abusos de derechos, problemas productivos etc.), como también para facilitar el acceso a materiales educativos a los docentes de escuelas rurales y organizadoras/es de asociaciones.
A tool aimed at providing support for different issues faced by campesino and indigenous families (land conflicts, rights abuses, productive problems, etc.), as well as to facilitate access to educational materials for rural school teachers and association organizers.

INFORME PARA LAS COMUNIDADES DEL DEPARTAMENTO PELLEGRINI, SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO
COMMUNITY REPORT - DEPARTMENT OF PELLEGRINI

El objetivo de este informe es presentar resultados de una investigación que hice en 2019 sobre el estado de las condiciones de vida y del bienestar de las comunidades campesinas del Departamento Pellegrini, Santiago del Estero, Argentina. El informe aborda cuatro temas principales que son considerados de importancia por las comunidades campesinas: cambios en el uso de la tierra y deforestación, condiciones de vida y de bienestar, acceso al agua, y acceso a la tierra.
El objetivo final de este informe es proporcionar a las comunidades campesinas resultados de investigación accesibles dentro de cada uno de los cuatro temas abordados, que sirvan como herramienta para comprender y mejorar las condiciones de vida de sus comunidades.

The objective of this report is to present the results of a study I carried out in 2019, on the state of living conditions and well-being of campesino communities of the Department of Pellegrini, Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
The report addresses four main themes that are considered important by campesino communities: changes in land use and deforestation, living conditions and well-being, access to water,
and access to land.
Ultimately, the goal of this report is to provide campesino communities with accessible results from
within each of the four topics addressed, that together serve as a tool to advocate for the improvement of the living conditions of these communities.
A TRAVÉS DE SUS OJOS: FOTOGRAFÍA PARTICIPATIVA
THROUGH THEIR EYES: PARTICIPATORY PHOTOGRAPHY

Comencé el proyecto de fotografía participativa en 2019, con el objetivo de que los campesinos y campesinas del departamento Pellegrini comuniquen lo que es importante para ellos, en general, y cuáles son sus preocupaciones y dificultades. Para capturar su perspectiva, distribuye cámaras desechables a varias comunidades y luego desarrolle la película al regresar del trabajo de campo.
Con el permiso de los miembros de la comunidades, use su propia fotografía en el informe generado a partir de mis investigaciones y colaboraciones en 2019.

I undertook a participatory photography project in 2019, the aim of which was for campesinos and campesinas of Pellegrini department (Santiago del Estero province) to communicate what is important to them, very generally, and what their worries and difficulties are. In order to capture their perspective, I distributed disposable cameras to communities and then developed the film upon return from my master's fieldwork.
With the permission from community members, I used their own photography in the community report I generated from my research and collaborations in 2019.
